An allegory of the psychic survival process engaged as a neo-settler, a (second generation) emigrant of one colonised land whose family have sought a better life on others’ stolen, unceded ancestral land. Created on the shores of Boon Wurrung country, colonially known as Point Nepean National Park, Victoria, Australia.
ID: A late afternoon photograph of TQ on a beach shore in a downward dog yoga pose. They’re naked with glowing deep amber skin and their head is buried in the sand. The sky is faded blue with small clouds and the tan sand is dug up in the foreground by footprints.
