Carla is a witch who came to Wycheproof in search of kin only to discover that the town’s name was derived from the Wergaia words ‘wichi-poorp’ meaning ‘grass on a hill’. As witches often do, she fled to the local mountain only to discover that, as the world’s smallest registered mountain, it stands only 43 metres above the surrounding plains. This claim has not made it a noted destination for humans nor mages, so Carla chose seclusion over grandeur to become ‘The Witch of Mount Wycheproof’.
