A couple of the drawings in progress from a workshop today where students at St Joseph’s were asked to turn these humans into superheroes representing qualities it takes to create art. It was lovely to be part of channelling energy into creativity and witnessing students engage with and expand on ideas. These will become decals for Up, Art and Away, debuting in the windows of @artshouse on Dec 2. Thanks @naomivelaphi for inviting me to develop this project. Thanks to creative friends who posed for photos I turned into sketches for the students to transform (more size and other diverse identities to feature!)
