Blak Dot’s QPOC showcase exhibition opens Friday Jan 18th
My favourite gallery in Melbourne, Blak Dot, a contemporary Indigenous run Arts Space in Brunswick, hosts a group exhibition of queer people of colour as part of the Midsumma Festival. I have a small pencil drawing (yes, pencil!) in the show, a study from my new self portrait series that I’ll be showing in Sydney at Sullivan and Strumpf from February 16th.
The show at Blak Dot features Cecilia Kavara Verran, Kamahi Djordon King, Léuli Eshraghi, Peter Waples-Crowe, Rena Swamy, Tama Tk Favell, Meera Sethi, Texta Queen, Sean Smith & Renuka Rajiv
Opening this Friday January 18th 2013 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
